    Your two hours this week

    A small programme, observed carefully.

    The current priority

Establish the truth of your game.

The programme will select one scoring leak at a time. It will not rebuild your swing from statistics.

    Notes from the practice ground

    The quiet work
    behind a lower number.

Improvement rarely arrives as a revelation. It is built from ordinary shots, observed without vanity, and repeated with intention.

    The house method

    Learn. Test. Play.

Every appointment has one character. Mixing them creates false confidence; separating them reveals what is actually improving.

    01

    Learn

One priority, short repeated sets, selective feedback, then changing targets.

    02

    Test

A fixed protocol. No advice, no mulligans, and no second attempt.

    03

    Play

One ball, a full decision, a committed swing, and an honest result.

    Once each month

    Take the work outside.

A simulator cannot reproduce turf, uneven lies, rough, wind or green reading. Prefer a scored nine holes; otherwise use a real-grass range and short-game area.

    Today’s appointment

    Practice, made deliberate.

Follow the order. Keep the hour intact. Record the first result.

    Where are you practising?

Choose the room. The programme will adapt.

Every ball-striking drill can be completed in Golfzon Driving Range. Playing sessions become structured one-ball shot sequences.

    Purpose

    Learn the pattern

Feedback is permitted. Keep one cue and move from repetition to changing targets.

    House rule

One technical idea at most. When a shot is scored, use an outcome cue.

    Success today

The result is information, not a verdict on your swing.

    The order of play

    Sixty minutes, precisely.

    Close the appointment

    Record only what matters.

Complete the fields used in today’s practice. Leave the rest blank.

    The twelve-week programme

    Built for a full calendar.

Two simulator appointments each week. One real-grass or course visit each month. One priority at a time.

    24 appointments
    4 formal reviews
    I

    Build the ordinary shot

Useful distance, known dispersion, and fewer score-destroying misses.

    II

    Change the question

After a short repeated block, change club, distance, target and decision.

    III

Prove it one ball at a time

Tests and playing appointments are separate from learning.

    IV

    Take it to grass

Real lies, wind and greens remain the final examination.

    Your normal Golfzon bay

Driving Range is enough for the weekly work.

The app now provides a range-native version of both appointments. You only need Course mode to reproduce a hole visually; you do not need it to train the underlying tee shot, approach, wedge, routine or pressure skill.

Checked against Golfzon’s official MyPractice modes and Vision user guide. Available controls vary by installation.

    Fully native

Carry ladders, start line, dispersion corridors, random clubs, benchmark combines and pressure tests.

    Adapted honestly

Play six imaginary holes as one-ball tee-to-approach sequences, changing club and target after every shot.

    Save for grass

Real turf, rough, bunkers, wind, green reading and a score that can influence your official Handicap Index.

    The standing weekly order

    Two appointments. Two different jobs.

Leave roughly 48–72 hours between them when your calendar allows.

    Appointment I

    Learn or Test

    2. 6–12Six different calibration shots
    3. 12–49Six to nine holes, one ball, no mulligans
    4. 49–56Separate five-shot pressure finish
    5. 56–60Record first causes, not excuses
    Every fourth week

    The grass examination.

Prefer a scored nine or eighteen holes. If that is impossible, use the real-grass range protocol. Do not spend this visit repeating perfect mat lies.

    Preferred

    A real round

    1. Warm briefly and finish with the first-hole club.
    2. During play record only score, penalties, recovery tee shots, GIR start distance, double-bogey cause and three-putts.
    3. Use the stock cue; perform no swing diagnosis on the course.
    4. Afterward choose the first repeated cause of lost strokes.
    Fallback · 60 minutes

    Real grass and green

    1. 10 min warm-up and turf contact
    2. 15 min wedges from varied lies
    3. 15 min random approaches
    4. 10 min tee shots with wind and corridor
    5. 10 min putting start line and pace
What we borrow from leading programmes

Keep the quality. Remove the volume.

First-party NCAA and university materials repeatedly emphasize designed challenges, personal statistics, course study, routine, competition and post-round review. A working amateur does not need a collegiate workload to borrow those habits.

    Keep
    • One named challenge each day
    • Personal scoring data
    • One-ball competitive practice
    • Course and hazard planning
    • Full routine on every scored shot
    • Short post-round review
    Leave behind
    • Daily training volume
    • Team qualifying pressure
    • Dozens of vanity metrics
    • Generic team swing models
    • Unscreened collegiate gym plans
    • Technical analysis during play
    Why this programme is credible

Designed from evidence. Honest about its limits.

The structure combines shot-value research, official PGA and LPGA teaching standards, motor-learning studies, recognized performance systems and first-party collegiate practice examples. No responsible programme can guarantee a lower Handicap Index—especially with only three real rounds in twelve weeks.

    The coach’s review

Progress, read in the right order.

Real golf first. One-ball play second. Repeated benchmarks third. A single launch number never tells the whole story.
